I planned this wedding with the Mother of the Groom while Carol and Dave were on the other side of the country making great things happen in their lives. The design process was fun as their color palette was gold and fuchsia and they wanted a more “Western” spin on the wedding. (Yes, I wanted to squeal with delight when they sent me off to create the design!) It was truly a lovely Indian Fusion wedding!
I’d prepared the design plan and pulled in the right design team to make it happen, then we sent it off to Carol for approval. She didn’t change a thing! (I love when that happens!) Everything about this day was perfection.
Did you notice something in the images? We moved the mandap from the ceremony inside to the reception! This is a very cost effective way to leverage your decor spend, but you need to be sure enough time is allocated for the move. (It may take up to 2 hours to do this if you have a more complex structure.) It was stunning both on the ceremony lawn and inside the reception ballroom. Definitely worth the move.
