Petal and John-Paul were such a lovely couple to work with! These fashion execs had their eye on the perfect outdoor wedding under the sparkling desert sky. Things were going as planned until a week from the wedding when we saw the forecast was over 110 degrees. If you have ever worked as a Parker Palm Springs wedding planner, you know the lawns are coveted at this resort so moving the reception inside was going to break our hearts. The weather pattern didn’t change and we had to move the party inside.

Team Chic custom made the table runners to fit perfectly, which added a sophisticated touch to the more organic styled centerpieces intended to go in the garden setting. Everything dazzled on the tables underneath the starburst chandeliers and the guests were delighted to be in air conditioning. It was a lovely, well-designed day in spite of record heat! Just look at the gorgeous florals from The Bloom of Time! Not a dead flower in sight! That, my friends, is the sign of a smart floral designer.

The Parker Palm Springs is one of our favorite locations in the desert. The gardens have grown in high and lush, separating each event space into it’s own private oasis. The Gene Autry Suite is perfect for entertaining a multi-day destination wedding and there are so many photo shoot locations, you could spend hours taking pictures if you wanted to.
