The Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach was the perfect setting for the Fabric of Freedom Gala. It was the annual fundraiser for the International Princess Project. What I love about this non-profit is that they rescue women from the sex trade in India and teach them how to sew so that they can provide for themselves and their families. (You must know that I learned to sew when I was 10 years old from my Grandmother and even won a trophy in 7th grade for my sewing skills.) The ladies that run this organization were a wonderful group of women that got along cohesively…and you know that doesn’t happen as often as it should when there are many women on a board together.
